| Notanee Bourassa (DJ Hardwired) hardwired@cjtr.ca Specialty I specialize in Industrial/EBM music. A type of music which embraces the electronic/synthetic and takes it up a notch. I have an extensive collection and a wide range of music, consisting of, but not limited to, bands such as, VNV Nation, Seabound, Covenant, Combichrist and much more. Over the years I have gained a deep knowledge and understanding of the music that I play. My personal goal is to expose people to a spectrum of music outside of the mainstream. Experience: 1997-1997 DJ’d onboard HMCS Regina during deployment in the Arabian Gulf. 1999-2000 DJ’d at Krankit Radio which is an internet-only radio station. 2000-2001 Cofounded and DJ’d Spinning Edge radio. 2001-Present Cofounded and DJ’d Turboshout Radio which is presently known as Hardwired Radio. 2002-Present DJ of two hour weekly Industrial show on Friday nights named Hardwired on 91.3fm CJTR, Regina’s Community Radio station 2003-2003 Co hosted and DJ’d at several Asylum events, in the winter of 2003. Asylum was billed to be an Industrial and gothic themed cabaret in Regina. 2008-Present I guest DJ at Vortex events hosted by the Saskatoon Goth Chapter. It is a night of socializing to the sounds of Goth, industrial, electro, dark wave and metal music. |
